Male Bonding – Bones
Male Bonding is an up-and-coming band from London in the same noise pop vein as No Age and with the requisite Pitchfork hype, but sophomore effort Endless Now shows a breadth of creativity and expansive songwriting that I wouldn’t have expected from the genre. “Bones” is the immediate highlight, gorgeous proof that a six-minute-plus song doesn’t need to be a detraction when coming from a bunch of fuzz-pop punks. Check out Endless Now if you haven’t already, it dropped last month.
