Lost in the Trees – Fireplace

By Rudy Klapper, October 19, 2010 8:00 am

Chapel Hill collective Lost in the Trees‘ sophomore album, All Alone in an Empty House, was originally released back in 2008 but I just got to hear it thanks to its re-release this past August on ANTI-. An intriguing mix of baroque folk-pop that lands somewhere between Midlake and Okkervil River, “Fireplace” is just the kind of tune that has me finally remembering it’s time for autumn.
